My Birthday Party

Grandparents are so handy!

Grandad helped Dad repair our wall - it had some water damage from a leak.

Grandma took me for a nice long walk.

What a good day!

While Mommy was raking leaves, I snuck off my plastic blanket (the grass was
soaking wet, of course) and crawled in some mud! Being a boy is so fun.

Family at Thanksgiving

This is my great-Grandma Putman

This is Grandma.

and this is Grandpa (I warmed up to the moustache... eventually.)

Wild man

My book from Mimi & Papa

Mimi & Papa gave me this "first backpack" for Christmas last year.
I am really enjoying it. Mommy caught me turning the pages,
and I pull out the soft crayons and chew on them. Good times, good times.

This is when I know my Daddy really loves me

He is letting me eat his special box of Star Wars Episode II cereal.

When I'm excited

This is how I communicate excitement. Somehow everyone always understands...

A new trick

This is one of my favorite new tricks. I rotate it around so I can reach all sorts od beads!

Hey, look - I'm crawling!

I started crawling (well, inching - about 3 inches maybe) last Monday, Nov. 3. I am now getting around pretty well. This was taken last Wednesday.

Fun times with my relatives!

Great Grandma Putman and Great Aunt Joyce met us in Ellensburg for lunch.
It was a pretty good restaurant (mmm blue cheese)

Grandpa Fred and Grandma Dot flew from Albuquerque and spent a week.
My parents always enjoy spending time with them.

What a lovely morning

(I didn't fall for it though... the "cuddle him so he falls back asleep" trick)

Mommy & Daddy attempting water sports (Daddy was much more successful - he actually slalomed).

Splish splash... me 'n' Ducky. Good times.

My dentist told me to always brush my teeth!

I take after my Daddy; I snuck some dough before Mom could stop me!

Is this what the hole in the bib is for?

Friends

This is Sahara, she's 14 months, I'm 8 months in this pic.

This is Lilly, she's 3 and is kind enough to keep me entertained.

Toys, Books & Dogs

Mommy gave me this tub of toys, and I thought I'd spread them all out to see which one I wanted to play with.

I love the monkey book. I love all books. I even help turn the pages (every time).

There is my favorite doggy, Scruffy. He was Mommy's dog since she was in 6th grade. Mommy adopted him when we moved to WA. Sadly, he is no more =( We miss Scruffy.

Check out our new floors!

These hard woods were original with the house (only covered by carpeting and needed refinishing).

In the additions, there was only light-weight concrete floor, so Daddy has been laying Slate tile.

Fun with Cousins

Lydia is 1 lb heavier, 1 inch shorter, 3 months older and light years ahead in movement. We had fun together!
