New Pictures

Hi Everyone who reads our blog! I apologize for the lack of updates lately - feel free to pester via e-mail if you're sick of the same old pictures. Since I personally don't frequent our blog I tend to forget about it! I have 4 new posts below... tried to be choosy since I'm hundreds of pictures behind. May the grace of the Lord be with you as it is with us. We are enjoying His new mercies every morning.

Grandma and Grandpa Putman Visit

This first picture is us visiting to Snoqualmie Falls. The ones following are just fun times with Grandma and Grandpa. We had a wonderful weekend with gorgeous weather. We got a TON done around the house (felled two trees and weeded a nastily - weedy garden) as well as just spent time and enjoyed each other's company. Still enjoying the homemade salsa!

Meg's brother - James - visits!

James, Meg, and the kids had a great time at the park. He is such a blessing to have around. Connor and Katie were both quick to latch onto Uncle James. Katie smiled at first sight (which is getting more uncommon as she realizes who she knows and who she does not). Thanks James for the fun visit! Hopefully it won't be another year till you can make it back stateside.

Felling a Tree

Here's our poor 35' pine tree, stuck behind an enormous (at least 100') Cedar. One of our many yard projects. Jeremy and his Dad felled it.

Hooray! They didn't hit the fence or the tree or themselves... (of course, we all knew that would be the case)

Does life get better? Chainsaw, Dad and son to help, and a beautiful Saturday here in North Bend.

Connor is an exceptional helper. We are so thankful he's part of our family.

Katie pictures

Katie has several tricks (which we love to exploit!). She is 10 months now, and will give "five", "clap" if you say "happy" or if you say "clap", shake her head "no" if you say "shake it Katie!", and she points. She also says dog, drink, and a few other things that are discernible to those who know her well.

We love to be silly with our little girl - spiky hair at dinner.

Katie was enthralled with the balloons at a birthday party. She'd just yank on (and chew on) the string and watch the balloon move.

I think Katie enjoyed the puppet show almost as much as Connor! She's pointing out the dragon for us.
