Snoqualmie Falls

A very successful venture. Well, except for Katie getting hungry on the way up (i.e. screaming). But still, a great day!

Blackberry Picking & Reading

My friend, Mary, from college has been helping us stock our kitchen with yummy blackberries. We also hit the blueberry farm. (The blackberries are free - weeds up here - for anyone willing to risk getting stuck by thorns). Connor is quite a good picker.

This picture is after Connor climbed onto the couch by himself for the first time. He loves to read - especially "BA" (Bob the Builder).

Dump Run with Daddy

We got rid of a lot of junk! (A lot of it was from roofing). Of course, Connor couldn't let Daddy do it all himself, so he helped. Thanks Grandma Dot and Grandpa Fred for the shirt.

Watering Raspberries

I watered the raspberries (used the hose to fill the milk jug and then water). A few minutes later, Connor is saying "stuck" and "help", and I see him with the hose in the milk jug. He usually likes to play in the hose water, so I figured that's what he wanted, but no... he wanted to water the raspberries, just like Mommy. I think he watered them for about 30 minutes. Children are a blessing!

Such a big boy!

Connor has been drinking out of "real" cups forever, but I finally got a picture of him drinking out of Mommy's big cup.

Watermelon and blueberries are this summers' favorite. Just can't get enough!

Nothing better than splashing in puddles. Thankfully we have a few good ones in our backyard!

Little Katie Girl

First bath, and trying to beat the 100 degree heat (thank the Lord that Grandma Putman sent a sundress!!)

With the umbilical cord off, we've graduated to real baths, and Connor is quite a good helper!

Blueberry Picking

Jeremy & Connor hit the first day the blueberry farm (5 minutes from our house - check out the view of Mt. Si from the farm!) the day it opened. They picked 8 pounds. YUM. That will be enough for cobblers and pies for all next year. Now I'm out of excuses; I have to make more pies!
