Connor is 2 - happy birthday!

Gotta love Darth Tater. This is one of Connor's creations.

Connor's "birthday cake" (the adults enjoyed a cake he might not have liked). He successfully blew out both candles... twice.

Now that Connor is 2, he does all sorts of things, like:
Picking his toe jam

and holding his sister. He started asking to hold Katie a few weeks ago and is quite gentle with her.

Our Home

While this wasn't an intentional "home shot", it works! I don't think we've posted many pics of the wonderful home the Lord has given us.
This is our dining room, looking into our living room, and at the Christmas tree which is in the bay window. Our front door is to the right (fireplace to the left).

This is Connor and Katie on Connor's "big boy bed" (we'll get there in a few months, for now it's just a nice piece of furniture in his room). This picture was taken because it was one of Connor's worse attempts at putting his hat on.

Connor enjoying his nativity set given to him by his Grandparents. You can see the family room attaching to the play area (If you really look, you can see the floor past all the toys =) Jeremy laid all these tiles himself- just finished laying the last tiles a few weeks ago... now just need to finish grouting and sealing!)

Connor always helps to vacuum - he gets the spots I miss (the furniture and coffee tables). You can see the transition strip - our subfloor is uneven - that Jeremy designed and laid down from the wood to the tile.

Family pic! It was the best we could do (and we're happy with it). Even Connor says "Connor... sad" when he looks at it. Oh well, we'll keep work on teaching him to "smile".

I just LOVE this hat that Grandma got Katie. I also love how tiny Katie looks compared to the chair and how she is so close to sitting up.
