Katie's lastest feats

Katie feeding herself a town cracker. She can get 2 out of about 15 Cheerios in her mouth (The fact that she can even pick them up is encouraging!) Maybe someday I can just "throw a bowl of Cheerios in her crib" and call it good.

This isn't "new" but we still love it. The flopping mermaid.

Don't know about this one... must not be useful because she doesn't do it often. "the tripod"?

The typical, on all 4s, rocking back and forth. Connor never did this, but I hear it's pretty normal.

My favorite: Downward Dog. She does this all the time. Besides developing rock hard abs, I'm not sure what she's trying to accomplish.

New Pictures

Connor, helping Jeremy with the LAST of the tiling!! Wow (yes, we need to put up pictures of our house... remind me sometime!)

Taking advantage of a beautiful President's Day (Jeremy surprised us by being "off" work at noon!) going to the park.

When life is as it should be

Connor with his light saber and Katie with her "baby Julia".

Katie, sleeping peacefully (at length!)

Connor, building houses with his shapes (not copying us - his own creation.)

Connor, picking blueberries before sharing them with Mommy. (Again, not our idea/suggestion... totally out of the blue - hmm, pun not intended).

Time to Babyproof

Katie started at the closest toy to the camera.

Oops! Didn't realize the paper, paperclip and platic bag were within her reach. We're working on teaching Connor that Katie can choke on: batteries, money (coins), and scrabble letters... anyone have anything else we should add to the list?
Oops! Guess we tried to get her to stay awake just a bit too long...

Connor is as affectionate as ever.

Beautiful trip the the Aquarium

The view of the Olympic Peninsula, across Puget Sound

Both kids enjoyed the trip.

One of our good friends, Brendan, showing Connor around.

Growing Girl

Our little girl is sitting up (she's also rolling front to back, have I mentioned that?). She can sit for almost 15/20 minutes sometimes. Where does the time go?

Never missing an opportunity to let the kids wear "the hat".

Happy Girl at 6 months old.
