Resurrection Weekend

He is risen!

It was a wonderfully full weekend. James and Mary Russell came from Montana to visit us for the weekend. We have enjoyed this yearly visit on Resurrection weekend for the past five years. James and Mary work at Camp Bighorn where they serve the Lord by serving young campers during the summer and help train college students during the year.

The weekend started out with sunshine Friday afternoon. To celebrate the Russell's arrival we had to break out the grill!

The first grill of the season...rib steak, green beans (in the foil), twice baked potatoes and Meg's french bread.

We were doubly blessed with two days of sunshine!

We visited the Seattle Aquarium with our minnows.

Friends!

Then nothing better than fish and chips on the pier at Ivar's.

Connor and Katie learned to feed the seagulls.

We made sure to clean up.

For those of you who've been on the fence about visiting us in Seattle...wait no longer! Seattle now has Segway tours (for those who don't like to walk).

Just another reason to experience the Emerald City.
